In Episode 2 of Trinity Blood
Tres and Abel are sent to investigate the murder of several vampires. They encounter a young girl named Elyse who possesses psychic powers, including the ability to manipulate people's minds. Abel refuses to allow Tres to kill the child, causing Tres to target Abel as a traitor. After Elyse is kidnapped by vampires, Abel goes to rescue her while trying to avoid being killed by Tres. After Abel rescues Elyse, Tres finds them and claims he cannot kill them as he has run out of bullets. Then they are attacked by more vampires and Tres shoots them without needing to reload.
