In Episode 14 of Trinity Blood
Dietrich and a still living Radu take over control of the Inquisition air ships and ground troops. Dietrich uses the ships to attack the city, while Radu goes after Abel, Esther, Ion and Petros. He fires on the group with a tank and when the smoke clears, Ion, Pedros, and Esther are laying in pools of blood, seemingly dead. Abel flies into a rage, activating his Crusnik mode and feeding on Ion's spilled blood. He terrifies Radu, who is ill matched against Abel. Abel kills Radu and appears to be going to finish feeding on the rest of Ion's blood when Esther awakens and calls to him, helping him come back to his senses.
